We don't have litters year-round. When we do, this is where you'll find them.
At Humble Catahoula Kennels, we breed sparingly — a few litters a year, planned carefully, raised inside our home. This page is where we list current puppies and announce upcoming pairings. Nothing goes up here until it's confirmed.
If you see a puppy you're interested in, reach out. If you're thinking ahead, we take reservations for planned litters — and we're happy to talk through what to expect, what to prepare, and whether a Catahoula is the right fit for your household.
All of our current puppies come from one sire, Hubba, and two dams — Hula and Jackie. Same father, two mothers, one program. Every puppy on this page traces back to these three dogs.
Below you'll find profiles on each parent, a list of available puppies by name, and information on how to reserve one. These pups are being raised underfoot right now — handled daily, socialized with kids, and started on crate training before they go home.
Hubba is a substantial, level-headed male. At 70 pounds and 25 inches, he's got presence without being pushy — the kind of dog who watches a room before he walks into it. He's attentive, easy to work with, and calm around people and other animals.
His line goes back through generations of Catahoulas bred for working ability and sound nerve. These are dogs with a job in their blood — herding, tracking, or just keeping an eye on the kids.
Fully Health-Tested & Clear
Hula is graceful and steady — 55 pounds, 22 inches, with a gentle temperament that makes her easy to have around. She's affectionate without being needy, and she's proven herself as a mother: attentive, patient, and instinctively good at it.
Her litter this year gave us nine puppies. Three have already gone to their families. Five are still available, and one we're holding back for our own program down the road.
Jackie has a spark to her — confident, sharp, and always watching. At 56 pounds and 22 inches, she's solid and athletic. Her line carries strong working drive and those vivid merle coats that turn heads.
She gave us ten puppies earlier this year. Three have been placed. Six are still waiting for the right homes, and one we've kept back for the future.
We plan litters well in advance. Early reservations are recommended — most of our puppies are spoken for before they're born. If you're serious, don't wait until the whelping date to reach out.
Putting down a deposit holds your place in line and gives you priority when it's time to choose. We match families to puppies in the order deposits are received.
Amount: $800 (60% refundable; transferable to a future litter if your plans change)
A non-refundable option of $400 is also available.
$800, with 60% refundable — or a non-refundable $400 option. Either way, it's transferable to another litter if needed.
Yes. We do our best to match preferences based on deposit order. We're upfront about what's realistic in a given litter.
Once puppies have had their first vaccinations and are old enough for visitors, we welcome approved families by appointment.
A few. We don't run a high-volume program. Every litter is planned, and every puppy gets individual attention.
We coordinate transport — cargo, flight nanny, or ground — depending on distance and what's safest for the puppy.
All breeding dogs are screened for hereditary conditions relevant to the breed. We share results openly.
